The Lake Vermilion fishery is healthy and should provide both catch and harvest opportunities for multiple species. The walleye population is in good condition in terms of abundance, size, and age distribution. Harvest opportunity is available for walleyes from 14-20 inches, and fish over 20 inches continue to be abundant providing opportunity for a memorable fish. MN-DNR
